The rooms were recently refurbished and well-organised and had a NICE view of the ocean. The hotel's position was magnificent, very close to the sea front, Pisa airport or Lucca, and very nice restaurants and bars which are all very child friendly.

We stayed in family room but it has actually two separate rooms with separate bathrooms and balconies and with common corridor. A staff was very frendly and helpfull. Continental breakfast was pretty various and tasty. The hotel, built in 19th century, has modern and nice interior. Hotel has not a lot of rooms, so there wasn't noise and bustle over there. Big water-pool and free cars parking makes this hotel very comfortable for family vacation. Additional advantages: a lock box for free, free high-speed wi-fi in the rooms and lobby, mini-bar but for extra money :)
One of the rooms could be a little bit bigger. Automatic light switch in bathroom wasn't convinient because of the light switched off periodically while I was in shower cabin.

The room was very good with views over the pool area and partial sea view. All the staff were excellent and they were very helpful and attentive throughout. The breakfast was very good with a varied choice to suit every taste, especially lovely fresh fruit. The pool although small was really good and was suitable for everyone, with lots of loungers around (although some were claimed very early in the morning)
There was mention of a Restaurant, however this is no longer open, only for light lunches. Fortunately there are lots to choose from nearby.

We had such a fantastic stay at this place! The location is almost next to the sea, making it perfect for beachgoers like us. The swimming pool was in need of a clean, but it was still enjoyable to take a dip and cool off. The staff from the front desk to the breakfast attendant were exceptional, professional, so approachable, and accommodating. They definitely seemed "hand-picked" to ensure their guests are well cared for and have a memorable stay. Each staff member was extremely helpful, accommodating, courteous, and prepared to go the extra mile to assist with any queries or requests. The room was cosy and had all the necessary amenities, including air conditioning, a TV, and a fridge. this hotel provided enhanced comfort and quality services.

Our first impression was that we picked the nicest property in town - and it remained that way. An old villa has been converted to a hotel tastefully and with a lot of personal influence. We liked the small pool and the beautiful garden with lots of nice sitting areas. On the day that we left they closed the place for the season and we never would have noticed until we checked out. Unfortunately, they do not serve dinner anymore. An ideal place to enjoy a vacation by the sea and still have plenty of opportunities to visit Lucca, Pisa and other interesting towns in the area.
Even though it's close to the beaches, the hotel is facing the main road. The garden blocks the view to the road but you get the noise of traffic nonetheless. It was ok for this time of the year, but it must be a pain during main season.

Very helpful staff. Booked restaurants for us, told us about the local area and suggested outings for us. Even made sure our two teenage sons got to see English Premiership football matches at the hotel. Excellent location. Nice, though small pool and nice pool area. Internet access was a bonus. Parking was also a bonus. Breakfast was very nice.
Dated rooms/bathrooms.

Fantastic location near the beach with easy access to nearby attractions. Rooms were elegant and clean. Enjoyed using the free bikes provided by the hotel to explore the area. The pool, although small, was a relaxing spot. Staff were friendly and helpful. Decent breakfast options. I highly recommend this hotel for a short break.

The hotel was lovely. It was 1 block from the boardwalk and the ocean so it was very convenient. The pool was small but clean and beautifully situated with lounge chairs and umbrellas and tables and trees and plants. Our room was actually 2 connecting rooms with 2 bathrooms and an enormous private balcony. It was very comfortable and nicely appointed. Breakfast was unbelieveable - they had so much wonderful food and choices set out - rolls and cereals, cheese and meats, fruit, .etc. They had a book shelf where you could pick up books during your stay and leave others if you wanted. Very friendly staff. Family like hotel. We would definitely stay here again.
